It is our pleasure to announce the launch of the Safaghat WLL platform for crowdfunding investment and funding. Safaghat WLL is one of the first financing-based crowdfunding investment platforms in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Safaghat WLL is a Shariah-Compliant platform where it finances the the SMEs and the companies based on the Islamic principle in financing - Murabaha. The Kingdom of Bahrain has a developed financial system and extensive experience in the field of investments and financing, but there is a large gap in the field of investment and financing, not to mention the sharp rise in service fees and the lack of expertise in determining a safe and high-return investment. Safaghat WLL team has worked together to solve these problems and create an integrated solution to all these problems. Through the team's accumulated experiences in investment, finance, and digital solutions, Safaghat WLL was able to build various partnerships to facilitate and solve all the problems of investors in the Kingdom of Bahrain and in the Middle East. It provides safe, easy, and high-return investment opportunities and deals. Our company is one the first in the field of crowdfunding investment and financing to be accepted in the Sandbox regulatory environment of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). We have successfully exited from this environment and got the final approval from the CBB, as an "Ancillary Services Provider - Crowdfunding Platform Operator" Safaghat WLL started the establishment of many relationships with local and international banks subject to supervision by regulatory institutions. We provide our services in an easy, convenient, safe, and digitalized way. With services available around the clock, investors can join and use the services of the Safaghat WLL platform through the website or the Android or iOS smartphone applications. Safaghat WLL offers safe and well-studied investment offers through experts with long experience. These investments are characterized by a short maturity period in addition to the attractive and high return compared to all similar investments for the same period of time. Our company has a clear goal: to provide excellent investments for all. Transaction fees on the value of financing are among the lowest rates in the financial markets, in addition to the fact that investors do not bear any part of the fees. The main objective of establishing our company is to create a competitive investment environment for all, of which will positively reflect the financial and economic systems in the participating countries.

Mr. Abdulkarim Ahmed Bucheery

Executive Board Member (Chairman)

Mr. Abdul Karim Bucheery is considered one of the most famous bankers in the Middle East and was chosen by “World Finance” as the best banker in the Middle East in 2010, and in 2016 he was one of the top 100 CEOs in the Arab Gulf region and the Arab world and was honored in Dubai. Among his best achievements is the great development and pioneering leaps he achieved for BBK under his leadership as CEO. He held many important positions as the President of the Bahrain Banking Association for two consecutive terms, and currently after retirement, he is the Chairman of the Bahrain Bourse since 17 January 2017, and also the Chairman of NRCG at the Bahrain Bourse. Mr. Bucheery is a partner and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “KMH Management Solutions”, Chairman of Bahrain Clearing Company and Chairman of its Executive Committee. A Board Member at BPW. He was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Montreal Motor Company. Recently, he was appointed as a Board Member and the Chairman of the Audit and Risks Committee at Abdul Jabbar Al-Kooheji Group. Also, was appointed a Board Member and the Chairman of the Audit and Risks Committee at Alubaf Arab International Bank. He is a Board Member at Beacon International School.

Mr. Ebrahim Abdullah Al AlSheikh

Executive Board Member (Deputy Chairman)

Mr. Ebrahim Abdullah Al AlSheik is considered one of the most prominent young businessmen whose presence and hard work have emerged in the labor market in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He holds many prestigious positions and has many professional achievements, most notably, a member of the Board of Directors of Muharraq Sports Club, a member of the Bahraini-Saudi Businessmen Council at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, since 2016. He has a high level of experience in the field of economy, trade, import, and export, as he has experience exceeded a quarter of a century, "27 years", in the commercial business sector, and owns 5 branches of the "Montreal Company" in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and he founded the Ebrahim Abdullah Al-Sheikh Automotive Company in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia in 2012, and Montreal Motors in the United Arab Emirates in 2014.

Mr. Mohamed Abdulla Bucheeri

Independent Board Member

Mr. Mohamed Bucheeri has more than 17 years of experience in the IT and banking sectors, is responsible for the firm’s IT operation of technology systems and infrastructure, and streamlines the company's strategies and initiatives. Prior to joining the banking sector, Mohamed worked in multiple sectors including real estate investment and management. Mohamed holds an MBA from DePaul University, a Master in Information technology from Ahlia University, a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Bahrain, and many advanced professional and technical certificates. He is currently a board member at 973Labs company. Also, he is a board member in Invopos company.

Mr. Husain Ali Sayed

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Mr. Husain Sayed has more than 20 years of experience in leading digital transformation projects and has contributed remarkably to FinTech and innovations across the region. He has worked in leading financial institutions and he is passionate about enhancing the digital customers' experience. He worked in well-established corporates and founded/co-founded startups as well, so he is well poised to serve investors and merchants in the most rewarding ways. Husain holds an MBA degree from the University of Strathclyde and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain. Additionally, he has some executive, professional and technical qualifications in Marketing, Project Management, and Digital Growth.
